About Bo

Bo grew up in Centralia, Illinois, home of the Orphans. (Yes, the Centralia sports teams are really named the Orphans. The women's teams are called the Annies.) He attended college at the University of Missouri, graduating in 1997 with a degree in Philosophy. Bo currently lives in Chicago, Illinois and is an Enterprise Reporting Analyst at Leapfrog Online, an online marketing and customer acquisition company. Karen isn't sure what that means either, but it has something to do with computer databases.

Bo is a retired drummer from the Chicago-based, now-defunct band Arks. He currently enjoys receiving belly massages from the devoted-only-to-him Kitty, occasionally pretending he is an elf rogue/fighter, and stroking his beard thoughtfully.

About Karen

Karen grew up in the suburbs of Buffalo, New York. She maintains a fierce loyalty to the Bills and the Sabres. She attended college at Cornell University, graduating in 1998 with a degree in Natural Resources. After two years living in Houston, Karen went to the University of Texas where she earned her Masters degree in Community and Regional Planning. Karen now lives in Chicago, and is the Manager of Academic and Organization Outreach at the Institute of Real Estate Management, a professional association for property managers.

Karen enjoys cooking and eating delicious food, dancing like a doofus whenever music is playing, and getting stinky doggy kisses from her greyhound Alina. During football season, she spends an inordinate amount of time and mental and emotional energy on her fantasy football team. If pressed, she will admit that she too sometimes pretends she's an elf.
