We got married on Saturday, September 13, 2008. We all know it rained a lot that day. But did you know it ended up being the rainiest day in Chicago history? Thanks to the combination of a storm front and the remnants of Hurricane Ike, we measured 6.63 inches of rain that day. If it's true that rain on your wedding day brings good luck to your marriage, we probably ought to buy some lottery tickets or something.
The Venue
The wedding ceremony and reception were held at the historic Berghoff restaurant in Chicago, IL. The Berghoff is the oldest restaurant in Chicago and serves traditional German and Austrian fare. They brew their own beer and root beer, both of which were served at the wedding!
The Photos
Photographing our wedding (in addition to all you amateurs/hobbyists out there) were the talented Steven and Tiffany Warmowski. If you are interested in ordering any of the professional photos, just click here and enter your email address. You'll be able to view all 600 photos and choose your favorites.
Or, if you'd just like to browse through a selection of the great shots that the Warmowskis took, you can check out the ones we uploaded on flickr.
The Music
Did you love the music that was playing before the ceremony? Wonder what that jazzy tune was that you heard during cocktails? Want to relive the fun reception? Have no fear! Those playlists were created by us (well, Bo really) and you can see them all here.
